3 Most Important Life Questions

The three (3) most important questions in life are:

• Where did I come from?
• Why am I here?
• Where I am going after death?

The answer to the first question, “Where did I come from?” informs the answers to the other two questions. There are really only two options for answering the first question. We are either on planet earth by chance or by design and purpose.

Those who believe we are here by chance have concluded that we have evolved by chance and human beings are just a “soup of chemicals.” There is no room for the human soul or spirit in the chance option.

We live in an infinitely large and complex universe. If I find a simple pencil on the side of the road I do not say to myself, “This pencil evolved by itself and is here on the side of the road by chance!” No, I say, “Someone designed and manufactured this pencil.” Everything in our everyday experience informs us that man-made widgets are designed and manufactured by someone. However, when we view the infinitely large and complex universe we somehow deduce that the universe is here by chance.

I believe it takes more faith to conclude we are here by chance than to conclude that we are here by design and for a purpose. If I am here by design with a purpose, then the last two (2) questions demand a purposeful answer.
