Apex Engineered Products has opened a plant in Port Manatee near Tampa, FL. 

Apex Engineered Products is a proven supplier of heat transfer equipment primarily to Fertilizer and General Chemical industries including the Bleach /Chlorine Industry. Material compositions include Nickel, Ni Alloys ( Hastelloys, Inconels, etc. ), Reactive Metals ( Ta, Ti, and Zr ) and Stainless Steels; all of which offer resistance to highly corrosive processing materials during extreme pressure and temperature operating conditions.

Our list of highly satisfied customers include: Bleachtech, Dover Chemical, Olin, Occidental Chemical, Arkema, Vertellus, Ashta Chemical and Emerald Performance Materials. These customers have all returned to Apex for additional heat exchanger requirements.

Apex has a 32,000 ft2 manufacturing facility in Clark, PA. Additionally, we have a facility in Tampa (Port Manatee), FL. Collectively both shops have the following:

▪ Semi-Automatic TIG welder with cold wire feed.

▪ (2) Submerged Arc Welder with manipulator and tractor (overlays and plate exceeding ½”)

▪ Astro Arc Orbital Welder (Strength and Seal Welds of Tube to Tubesheets)

▪ (2) Plate Rolling Rolls (Shell construction)

▪ Multiple Turning Rolls up to 144” diameter, 60 ton rolling and 90 ton hydro

▪ CNC Mitsubishi Vertical Machining Center w/ through spindle coolant

▪ Vertical Turning Lathe

▪ Multiple Conventional machining and turning.

▪ (2) Omax Waterjet Machines

▪ 20 Ton Overhead Crane

▪ HydroPro Tube Expanding System

Our products are designed and built to TEMA C,B, or R designs in accordance with ASME Section VIIIDiv. 1 “U” Stamp and NBBI Code “R” Stamp, and ABSA.

Quality Control capabilities include PMI, Helium Leak, Dye Penetrant and UT material / weld testing.
